MANIFEST YOUR DREAMS

Does your brain ever go a thousand miles per minute? No? Great. Well, mine does! Sometimes I genuinely have so many thoughts and ideas that I don't know where to start or how to keep up with myself! It's a blessing and a curse.

Ever since I was little, I had very big dreams. I wanted to be on broadway, perform on the biggest stages, own my own businesses (yes, plural). I have had sooo many great ideas in my 23 years of life, yet I still don't feel accomplished no matter how many things I check off of my list of goals. I guess that's just the price I pay for being extremely self-motivated and hard on myself. I've accomplished more than (most) people my age, but I don't care about what most people do. I like to compare myself to the Mark Zuckerberg's of the world- people that have achieved above average goals at such a young age!

My goal was always to have my first successful business by the time I graduated college. Now, here I am, almost one year post-grad and I'm living at home with my father and quit my job. But I believe that we must trust the path that God has chosen for us. I may not have gone the exact route that I wanted to be at this point in my life, but I am so happy and grateful for where I am and what I have accomplished/learned this past year. I have always preached to people to do what they love and follow there dreams and now it's time to practice what I preach.

I decided to quit my job to pursue something that I never felt confident enough to put my 100% into. I want to, no- I WILL become a professional actress/ dancer and follow my dreams. I WILL own my own businesses. This is what I know I was born to do. Manifest your destiny. Make it happen. Only YOU are in charge of your own life.

If I had to go back, I wouldn't change one thing about my journey. I'm so happy I went to business school, that I was able to get my college degree and learn. You have to do what feels right to you at the moment. That's what I've always done and that's the only way you will figure out what you're the most passionate about. I'm happy to have a family that loves and supports me through my journey. I'm so excited about what the future holds for me and the doors that I will open for myself. Sometimes you have to make your own opportunities for yourself. Never wait around for them to come to you.
